Week 1
Objective-
Students will
understand that animations are created by combining sequential images. This project introduces students to
spacing and timing.
Activity-
Using 24 or 10
frames (depending on age/level of focus) students trace a ball on printer paper
using the ‘bouncing ball template’ Students must label and organize their
frames.
Week 2
Bouncing Ball
Pencil Animation
Character
Creation
Activity-
Students
transform their ball into an original character and color in each frame.
Students will photograph their frames.
